New News:
As of January 2008 I have put all projects listed below on the back burner to make way for "Ghosts in the Family". This will be my first manuscript completed and hopefully sent to publication before summer's end.
Something you have to understand in my method of writing is that sometimes a story comes along that demands attention, all of my attention. It yearns to be told, is the best way I can describe it. This one is coming slow and certainly not easily. Yet, it comes nevertheless.

Fundy Tide-
By Crystal J.A. Melanson (From Sand & Sea Salt Collection)
Fog.
Creeping across the empty harbour.
With daylight-an hour away.
A fog horn-
bellows,
it's eerie drone,
to those held off in the bay.
Rivulets of salty water,
slowly,
slide
towards the shore.
As time passes,
the harbour fills with it's oasis
the bowl,
that is the harbour,
will be brimmed
by morning's light.

My family, and all the hopes that they have had for my future; are all the inspiration that I need.

The Sometimes Factual Life of Rose Burgandy- is a fictional novel which is a lot of fun, so far, to work on. The book is all in my head and at times it is very hard to find the time to work on it. The main character Rose Burgandy, who hopefully will be in a trilogy of books over time, leads a very interesting life, some of it is true, some of it is false. You'll have to be the judge.Once Rose actually starts living her life, after being held back by tragedy and individuals- she finds that life and the people you meet along the way, is a blessing and a joy to live. I am working on the third chapter and hope to have it all done before the forthcoming winter is over. Wish me luck. Your gonna love the book.
